Very new to saddles. Haven’t even hunted out of one yet. I just purchased my first set up. I have a TL Ambush Pro Kit coming along with some Hawk Helium sticks(new version).

I’m very much a DYI guy. Therefore I’m going to “try” to make a platform that works. Lol I’ll probably just build it then buy a predator lol.
My brother and buddy both have been saddle hunting all season and I’ve been able to pick their brains.

I’ve been reading on this forum and I can’t find if anyone has ever tried to use undercoating as finish on a platform. Has anyone tried something like Rust-Oleum undercoating on a platform? It’s paintable so you can camo over. It’s actually meant to be noise reducing and pretty durable. Ideally it should work to reduce noise. My question is will it be squeaky on rubber boots? Does anyone have experience with using these types of coatings?

Thank you,
