I dont have one yet but the fanatic series from Sitka looks good for the saddle with the way the front pocket works

If your hands are a major concern, get a muff with a strap long enough to fit around your neck.

If you're like me and don't like having to deal with a muff in the tree a hand warmer in each jacket pocket keeps my hands warm in the coldest weather. Also helps with overall warmth all the way down to your feet if you put some in pants pockets near your femoral.

I bought a cheap muff and its way better than gloves. I hang it around my waist rather than my neck but I doubt I'll ever go w/o one again.

Oh for sure. I use one around the waist too with a couple body warmers in it

Lots of folks attach a muff to their bridge. Add hand warmers. Toasty.

Sitka Fanatic is great too. I run the old Elevated Forest version, which has far better fabric than the new one IMO.

Yes, I always use my muff in the cold. The muff hangs at about my belly, the strap runs up through the bridge (inside) and around my neck. It has never been in the way.

Second the pnuma heated base layers, I have the vest & it's great. Haven't tried the pants. Paired with first lite furnace it works great.

Not in the way at all mind have two zippered pockets plus the hand warmer pocket perfect for things you might need to keep warm phone etc

Why not something with pockets on the sides of the chest. They’re a dime a dozen. Pockets should stay clear of the saddle.
