Tweaked my load out last night to accommodate my new mission platform and novix minis. Not sure I’m sold on it yet.

Basically it eliminates my pack and/or fanny pack leaving me with a chest rig and pockets to carry stuff into the woods. While picking and choosing contents to carry I forgot the most important...TP.

In my youth I prided myself as a master of my own bowels. This morning I finally faced the fact that those days are gone as is possibly one of my favorite beanies. It was a cold morning in the woods with no beanie.

Lmao I lost a pair of jersey gloves this season...and it spook a 6 pointer and a busted rack buck I would of shot...rough morning for me

My dad is king of the underwear sacrifice. I've see more painted whites in my life hunting with that man than I care to remember.

I remember one of the more colorful times I almost fell off a quad laughing so hard at him. I was in tears. He stopped the bike in the middle of the trail, turned around with a dead-pan face, and uttered these words..."Hey bud, you think that's funny? Well, it's Father Time, and he's catching you."

It hasn't happened yet, but those words have haunted me a few times this year. And knowing the fine genetics my old man passed along to me, it truly is just a matter of time.

I'd gladly even gleefully spend 3 weeks straight (and yes I have done so while elk hunting) heaterless tent camping in 15* nights and mornings than answer the call in the woods I hate it that much
Absolutely love or don't mind doing anything including bathing in the woods but Absolutely hate that.

We’ve all burned up fancy wool socks

Time plays a factor yes but I’ve also noticed that diet does as well
Since going on keto and cutting carbs out the trips to the bathroom are more predictable and definitely controllable

Never used a wool sock, too valuable, but a lot of other clothe parts and pieces have been sacrificed.
The older I get the more regular I’ve become

I think the excitement of getting in the woods mixed with the coffee really gets things going.

Normal days it’s about 9 or 10 o’clock.

I always carry a bandanna for whatever. Which is my backup for I always carry t.p.
I actually fell into a brilliant idea. I now carry some baby wipes. And they usually eventually dry out. And most throw them away. Then It dawned on me that I always have water so I can recharge the baby wipes when needed.

Bro, report back in 10+ years.

Save your hat, cut the pockets out of your pants. Though it might be hard to explain to the little women why you need new pockets sewn in. It could be the perfect time to take up thread injection.

This. They make some really small packs of baby wipes. I keep some in my truck but they also slip in a pack and weigh almost nothing. Saved my butt a few times.

Depending on what you ate the night before, it may be more "beanie" than it ever was before...
