for me this season out in -14ºC I had multi layers of thermal wear and under armour fleece/base layer, then browning hell canyon bib and few hoodie / sweater then a scentlok mid season jacket ( looking to get a late season jacket), 400 gram(toe warmers) or 2000gram insulate irish setters boots based on the amount of snow and wind chill... the biggest game changer for me in the cold this late season was getting a fleece a
hand muff. what a difference and can't wait to use it late season duck hunting .... if really cold throw a hand warmer in it. I like having thin gloves when bow hunting. I also wear less upper body layers walking in 1km-2KM to some spots and get dressed at the tree so I don't sweat .. makes all the difference in the world..

Use whats always served me well
Duel layer LJs inner layer of polypropylene outer layer Moreno wool my newest stuff 3-4 years old has a long lasting anti micro bacterial treatment
Wicking base layer 3'5 layers of duel layer LJ's windproof pants jacket and WP balaclava and I'm good for any temps I will encounter in NW NC Indiana or IL 95% of the time
Did have two hunts where temls got to 15-18* below zero and I still went out and hunted.

they look good. thanks for the info...my fleece base layer works well and my thermal layers, so im good with that..for me I just need a late season jacket so I can wear less hoodies. lol. my late season duck jacket is to noisy. not sure where you are from but gets really cold up here sometimes during late season.. im fine when temps are around 0ºC to -8ºC or so with windchill. any more I need to thicken up.. my scentlok jacket is to thin but like it a lot. im looking at theirs and brownings late season parkas . just hate the price tag. $$$$$. waiting for a sale.
