Contemplating getting rid of some Sitka…but worried I’ll miss it

Been thinking about letting some of the pieces go that I don’t wear much. I love the stuff it’s just hard to justify owning such things when I don’t wear most of it..anyone think I’ll regret it ?

I hunt in MS and it’s currently 80 degrees. I had the EQUINOX, Stratus and Fanatic but sold it all. It is incredible stuff but I could not justify it with the weather we have here. The Kings Camo XKG Wind Defender wasn’t designed for saddle hunters but it sure seems like it. I’d recommend it over anything else I’ve tried, including the Sitka.

I'm glad to hear you like the Kings stuff. I have the Sitka Stratus set but, I just ordered the Kings Anorak pullover. Your right, it seems like both the pullover and bib pants were designed specifically for saddle hunters.

How quiet is the Kings Stuff? That was the only thing that concerned me.

Is the Kings as quiet as the Fanatic?

I bought the king's xkg wind defender package last October. Only got to use it on 3 or 4 hunts but I really like it so far. And yes I thought it was very quiet. Never had the fanatic stuff but the kings is as quiet as any of my first lite and my cabelas wooltimate stuff.

I’m not sure any fabric is as quiet as berber fleece but after consciously rubbing the fabric against itself, I can’t see it being an issue whatsoever. It’s certainly not on my list of things that I do that would alert anything with ears.

Does anyone know much about their lone peak series or the Boulder jacket? Say in comparison to the Sitka stratus?
