I was given a free 1975 Landau 12 ft Jon Boat. No title. I was able to tag it via the Vermont loophole then tag it in my state. I installed wheels so I could launch it from the back of my truck anywhere I can get to the water. I managed to rip four quarter sized holes in the hull pulling it through the woods. After THAT repair, I shot a new coat
of paint on it. I'd say it is scouting ready now.

I really need to drag that dang semi v out from under my back deck and do something like this to it. Have been saying that for a while. I also think you should modify the wheels to resemble the hawk crawler cart so they don't rip off again. That would be sweet. But likely weigh as much as the outboard

I’m not surprised you ripped up the aluminum with that at all. It definitely needs to be beefed up and or supported where it’s being mounted similar to the transom or it will happen again. I love the idea though. If I needed more options for launching I’d be considering this. Are the wheels and arms purpose built for this or repurposed for this application? Paint looks good too. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, the wheels are on amazon for around $60.

I have 10"x10" 3/8" thick cutting board like material on the inside (which can be seen on the before pic) and aluminum plate on the outside. The four bolts run through those on each mount. The damaged side has the aluminum plate welded to the hull all of the way around.
