crazy idea: torso wrap to prevent draft in saddle and mimic bibs somewhat?

For 3 years I was using FLs North Branch shell pretty late into the season... could warm it up considerably with some polar fleece sections in my pack. If fold a couple and put on top of my legs, or under butt, or over shoulders. It works pretty good and doesn’t weigh much.

Got the bibs. Excellent suggestion. Front zips down for having to pee. Full leg zippers which I didn’t feel are necessary being a mid layer but they’re nice to have. The fleece I’d say is a mid weight. I think will be perfect for those 35-45 degree days for that extra layer but don’t want to break out the heavy cold weather gear. eBay runs $13-$20. I may order another one or two for that price.
I have to say I was liking the saddle corset idea.

You'll like the full zips if you want to pack these in on a long walk and then put them on at the tree without fully disrobing and taking your boots off too.
