Cruzr xc sizing question

So I'm looking to finally upgrade my new tribe heavily modded saddle. Still have the old original trophy wine saddle. So I was contemplating going after the covert pro or cruzr xc. My question is I'm 510 180, 33 and sometimes a 34 inch waist. On the Cruzr, does anyone have any experience on if I should size up to a size 2 vs the size 1? I reached out to the company and haven't heard back just yet, I figured I would hit up the forum and see if I can get any advice just to have as much info as possible
 
I have an XC size 1 and I'm 5'10" and 175. It has been great and I have never felt the need to size up. I wouldn't want to be swimming in it. I think they factor in some for colder weather clothing, and the pleat helps give plenty of material that I never have hip pinch. Send or call them if ya like but I think you'd be fine.
 
I would say you are on the line. I’m 6’ 175 and I went for a 2. I don’t have any issues and have plenty of material to cover everything I want. Of course I came from that band aid they call a Phantom and I didn’t want another bikini.
 
I’m 5’10” 165 and have a size 2. I sized up for bibs and I don’t notice a difference early season. There’s plenty of belt adjustment. Either size will probably work. It’s a great saddle!
 
5'11 170lbs and size 1 is great. Sat in a size 2 and i would be ok with that as well but def. size 1 fits me better
 
I appreciate all the input, just got done talking with the folks at customer service/support. Talk to them about a 30 day exchange I'm pretty sure that sold me on it. I'll try a size 2 and pack on my warm layers (missouri hunter here, temps can be 80 or 5) to see how it fits. Worst case I size down to a 1

I am 5'10 190 34 - 36 waist depending.... how did the size 2 work out for you?
 
Think im actually gonna do a size 1 first to see. Will be ordering it later today

WOW I totally missed the part where this thread was started today.... im an idiot. But please let me know. I have been wanting to get out of my Tethrd saddle and Cruzr is the direction I think I am heading!

I'm 6 foot, 185 lbs, 34 inch waist pants, and a size 2 is perfect in the Cruzr XC. You almost always size up if on the border.

I can confirm you should go with size 2, especially as you layer up.
 
I'm 5'10" and usually about 155lb with about a 30-32" waist (depending on pants brand). I have both a size 2 and a size 1, both are very comfortable. If it's early season and I'm wearing my saddle while "hunting in", I'll be wearing the size 1. If I'm layering heavy and packing the saddle in, it'll be the size 2. I ran the size 2 for the complete year last year with no complaints (and I'm on the slim side).

will totally let you know. I live near Rogers Sporting goods and tested the Covert lite today. Was really bulky and alot of straps going on. Glad i went with the xc, looking at the videos it looks better

I would 95% say you’re going to be really happy, I saw all the positive posts on the XC and took advice from a good friend. I’m glad I did because it was my first and last stop when buying saddles. If they ever talk of discontinuing it I’ll buy three so I’m good for life.

im glad I went size 1. Ive been hanging for an hour now and it feels great. What a great simple saddle. Very comfortable so far and not over burdened with a ton of straps and adjustments that some do I feel are overkill. Love it so far
 
I'm 6 230 and wear a size 36-38 and the size 2 fits perfectly. Bought it last spring and used it all fall. Liked how cradled your backside with the pleats when I decided to sit
 
We are basically the same size, i have a slightly bigger waist. Cruzr suggested a 2 for me. Im glad I went with a size 1. It fits great. Now, it would have been awesome to try a size 2 and decide between the two. But i couldnt find a local size 2. I have done a few 1-2 hour practice sits and I am happy with the 1
