Our little girl lived 16 years of a good life! :) Typical life span for a Maltese is 12-14 years. She was exceptionally intelligent to the point I often wondered if she understood everything we said in a conversation. She hunted squirrels better than most hunting breeds, traveled to multiple state with us and earned everything that we could afford her during her life with us. She passed away this past October 10th, Columbus Day and it has been a death that my wife and I have struggled with since.

I found a bit of healing in a company in Tampa, Florida, called Crystal Clear Memories. I sent them a photo of Carrie Anne, when she was about a year old, on a Friday and the following Tuesday, I was holding it in my hand. Mind you, I'm in N.W. Ohio, which is impressive. The illuminated base really brings out the image.
If you have a treasured memory of a pet, friend, relative, etc., this is an awesome way to keep their memory alive!

I’m sorry for you and your wifes loss…it ain’t easy letting our little bundles of love go brother. They sure are something special. Your memory of her is awesome. My pups have taught me an awful lot over the years…not just about hunting and fun either! They have taught me things about what true character looks like, and in certain aspects of my life I have been able to apply those lessons and I am all the better for them…keep carrying on the memories you’ve had with Carrie Anne and it’ll help keep your head out of the weeds brother.

Happy Hunting Carrie Anne…

Sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is like losing a family member for us. We had to put down our oldest pup Kelsey (13 year old lab- bulldog mix) the weekend before Christmas and it was devastating. I am glad you found the crystal memorabilia and had them do a custom one of your dog. That’s an awesome way to keep her close to your thoughts. RIP Carrie Anne

Sorry for your loss sir

They have 4 legs and fur, but definitely nothing less than family. For this reason, 3yrs later, I have not replaced my Heidi. That was some crazy heartbreak.

The crystal memorial looks pretty cool. I had Heidi cremated with a urn on the mantle, but I would have went for the crystal memorial. Thanks for sharing.
