Our little girl lived 16 years of a good life! Typical life span for a Maltese is 12-14 years. She was exceptionally intelligent to the point I often wondered if she understood everything we said in a conversation. She hunted squirrels better than most hunting breeds, traveled to multiple state with us and earned everything that we could afford her during her life with us. She passed away this past October 10th, Columbus Day and it has been a death that my wife and I have struggled with since.
I found a bit of healing in a company in Tampa, Florida, called Crystal Clear Memories. I sent them a photo of Carrie Anne, when she was about a year old, on a Friday and the following Tuesday, I was holding it in my hand. Mind you, I'm in N.W. Ohio, which is impressive. The illuminated base really brings out the image.
If you have a treasured memory of a pet, friend, relative, etc., this is an awesome way to keep their memory alive!
