Flinginairos really hooked me up and built my sit drag for me this passed week. Here are some pictures.

Looking sweet! Splicing rope is the way to go for sure.

Indeed it is! I have some nice blisters for my efforts as well

Ha! I've only ever spliced hollow braid rope like Amsteel, which is very easy to do. That stuff you're splicing looks intense!

It's not too bad but def takes some elbow grease! Now that i've done several I've figured out some tricks to make it easier!

I might pick your brain concerning splicing that rope. I think I'd prefer the spliced ends, but I don't trust mine yet (I spliced the dyneema rope but haven't tried my dynamic or static rope yet)

Be glad to help. I have a really good video saved that really helped me a ton. I can send it to you!

Absolutely! Is it a link, or a physical copy?
Either way, I'll take all the help I can get.
I just started customizing the Anderson sling I bought off AT and if my webbing bridge idea doesn't work well, the I'd like a fixed rope bridge and splicing would be preferable to carabiners for this project (I'm going for extremely minimal/lightweight)

Here you go. I followed this exactly and nailed it first try. Video is very easy to follow.

You can find them on eBay for around $10. Search for "molle dump pouch".
