Ha! I've only ever spliced hollow braid rope like Amsteel, which is very easy to do. That stuff you're splicing looks intense!

I might pick your brain concerning splicing that rope. I think I'd prefer the spliced ends, but I don't trust mine yet (I spliced the dyneema rope but haven't tried my dynamic or static rope yet)flinginairos said:

I just started customizing the Anderson sling I bought off AT and if my webbing bridge idea doesn't work well, the I'd like a fixed rope bridge and splicing would be preferable to carabiners for this project (I'm going for extremely minimal/lightweight)
