I would like to walk into the woods with my saddle on, but it keeps ending at my feet. Anyone have ideas for suspenders? I am using a new tribe aerohunter (last years model before the flex came out.)

A tactical vest would be a good add on! Or a a tac-belt like this

I used some semi heavy duty suspenders from the hardware store on my Trophyline, worked great. They were about 1.5” black elastic with the alligator jaw clips on them. I think they were like $15 or so.

Throw your lineman's belt over one shoulder and cinch down until comfortable. No extra gear/fuss. You'll be surprised at how well it keeps your saddle in place.
This is what I was going to say. Also, I’ll add that the title of this post had me in stitches. From one dad bod to another, just do 25-35 squats a.k.a. pick your kids up 25 times each day. It will help give you a little bit of that Shakira lift in the caboose, and it will help you get a little more lift in your tree climbing LOL

I throw mine over my neck, but this works too^^^

You can also go to Home Depot and look at the tool belts that come with suspenders.

Hehee. Guess I only ever use the one shoulder because I have my sticks slung over the other. Kinda evens things out ;)
This is why I switched from walking with the LB around my neck and now use my right shoulder. When I climb, I have my Predator with a carry strap over my left shoulder. When I reach height my stand is hanging on my left shoulder which is the side of my body I always hang stands. My LB and my stand strap is never hanging from the same shoulder. And my Kestrel never sags while walking. LB over one shoulder is a "no-brainer". Suspenders are never needed.

So I am trying the linemans belt over one shoulder in the back yard. If that doesn’t work I found my son has the Y belt on his air tank for woods ball paintball. He didn’t play last year so I don’t think he’ll notice. Thanks for the excellent suggestions

Same, I also started packing my tree tether this year rather than have it clipped onto my kestrel. Much nicer than the extra weight and dangle.

I tuck my bridge into my belt, which tightens the saddle a little. Then I use my lineman rope around my neck and take the slack out. Sometimes I don't use the leg straps (keep them buckled behind me) until I get to the base of the tree. It seems when they're attached it brings the saddle down.

I don't know if someone mentioned it hear or another thread but walk in with the lower leg loops un-clipped or clipped behind your legs. Then once you get to the tree clip in. I tried this method this past weekend and after about a mile walk in, I noticed i hadn't had to adjust my saddle once from wanting to slip down. Game charger!!

I am new to saddle hunting and suffering from (the absence of a good butt so ) my saddle falling down when I not connected to lineman's rope or tether and connected to the tree. I know this might just be a me getting used to my saddles or me wearing to much gear on my saddle issue.

I read all the good suggestions in the replies above and I am going to try the line mans loop over the neck or shoulder as suggested above.

I also noticed the following two suspender options that might work with our saddles:

1.) Men Padded Adjustable Tool Belt Suspender Duty Belt Suspender Tactical Duty Belt Harness For Duty Belt https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071J61ZK1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

2.) Viking Tactics VTAC Combat Suspenders https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012EDFSGQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

In searching the web to get help solving my issues, I was surprised to learn that suspenders used to be on some saddles. Checkout this 2012 video:
