I have the eastern woods daisy chains but when i put gloves on, in can get a little fickle trying to open the up the hole to get them on the versa button. Anyone know if amsteel versions open up better? Thanks you for the help. Where would you buy?

It all depends on the size of the chain link loops. I make mine with 4” loops for that very reason. If there’s too much slack and you need it a skosh tighter, I just roll the stick one time with the first link in place and it takes up enough slack for whatever link I want to hook it on.

That said, I’m all out of daisy chains. Will probably be a few weeks before I make more.

I use the amsteel dasiy chains for my beast sticks and the work well. I had a friend make them for me.

I believe you can buy the amsteel daisy chains from Eastern Woods Outdoors. Last I checked, they were in stock.

Before i did that i want to make sure i do not need as much dexterity as i do with webbing type daisy chain? Or am i better with using the rope mod style? With that would i need to change the versa button?

I have used a rope mod with hawk helium’s (slightly different, but similar button), and had no issues. The benefit of that would be dependent upon the rope size and your ability to tie some sort of securing knot with gloves on.
