I just love Dan's Quote: "If you're not jumping a few deer, you're probably not getting close enough"

In this video Dan touches on the following:
-U may jump some does on your way in and the bucks may still stay put.
-Follow the transitions to the points.
-Primary Bedding vs. Secondary Bedding areas
-Bucks are on the edges of thick stuff, not in it most of the times.
-Use historical images on Google Earth to find the points to hunt.
-Always be scouting on your way to a spot
-U can hunt just off wind on the points.

Watched it last night - this was a superb series - thanks for doing it. After attending a two-on-one with Dan last year i can say his approach is really consistent and effective. Especially for his environment. We have to tweak his approach for down this way a bit as there just is not enough reliable edge bedding as there is on those marsh islands....... but the principles do remain rather consistent in a lot of cases.
