Deer hunting Mahannah WMA in Mississippi

Hey guys, i have a draw hunt coming up at the end of the week at Mahannah WMA near Vicksburg, MS. Anyone ever saddled up at Mahannah? I’m not asking for honey hole coordinates, just wondering if anyone has used a saddle there as I’m not sure what the trees and terrain are like. I’m studying maps , but there’s only so much the maps will show you. Thanks in advance.

Not sure about Mahannah. I hunted Canemount this year which is around Port Gibson and kinda close. Very hilly - I was fine with my stepps / saddle / platform

You will have plenty of trees to saddle hunt out of. Last I heard water was pretty high there on the other side of the levee. Probably would be worth calling the area manager and asking about current conditions.
