I logged into a forum this morning that I haven’t been on in awhile. I needed a break because I felt it was getting very political and it got quiet annoying..... this morning was a friendly reminder.

Not that I won’t talk politics, but too many people can’t agree to disagree. Now I must admit, there’s a couple topics even I might not be able to either... but I’d still respect the fact you’re entitled to your opinion and act like an adult. Too many people shun others if they don’t agree with their mindset or if they aren’t a part of X Y Z political party. That’s high school clique crap......

Thanks for keeping this place fun and on the matter at hand! Saddle hunting, safety, deer, etc...

Agree 100% . I even belong to some saddle
Facebook groups and they’re mostly
Good but there still is some bickering with this clothing or that, this saddle or that, etc. Theres so much useful information here and at worst is constructive criticism. Which is a good thing.

Trust me, we're on the same page. That said, there's a place for everything and this place is for saddle hunting discussion.

I whole heartedly agree, but some people act like children and I guess I come here for saddle stuff or the other said forum for deer hunting... (although that place sucks now I’m my opinion) Not to hear about Joe Biden, Trump, blm or from racists. This is America, and I’m all about living and let live. If you wanna be gay, go ahead, doesn’t effect me. Smoke marijuana, sure. Drink until you piss yourself, great. Not my life haha. But if I wanna see or discuss that stuff though, I do it elsewhere. Like another forum or local pub.
Speaking of pub, Im fresh out of work and could use a cold one.
Might even find a Gay, Trump loving black guy smoking a joint to come join me. :tearsofjoy:

I'm a HUGE fan of the Constitution also but, freedom of speech doesn't apply to private property (in this case a privately owned forum). The Government isn't telling you what you can't say. The guy that owns this place is.
 
I prefer the no religion and no politics rule they have here.

I'm a member of another hunting forum for my state and easily less than 10% of the threads are actually about hunting. I'll probably actually stop frequenting that one because I get almost nothing out of it.

I come here as a break from real life. I'm grateful for the rules and those who uphold them. We all deal with enough BS daily. Saddle Hunting is something we all like to do or are interested in otherwise we wouldn't be here. Let's talk about that.
 
I agree completely with the OP. This is basically my main archery forum now. Even when other places specificially asked people to keep the politics in area FOR POLITICS, bad bloods still spread to the whole forum.
