Discreet bow case

I for one appreciate what you are trying to do. I never wear my camo away from the woods for the same reason. No need to give a non hunter any fuel. I sewed a flannel bag to slide my recurve into. Not real protective but out of sight, out of mind. I made it big enough to go over a loaded quiver. Just left one end open enough to slid in.

I'm still trash bagging as of now.... Haven't had much time to be out there. Once the weather cools off a bit I'll started heading out for canoe hunts again. I figure something out... Old tarp and some duct tape probably end up making the bow sack.

Cleaning that deer on the ground last time destroyed my back so I added a little rope pulley system and gambrel I keep on the boat now...I copied this off utube and have added hardwood dowel rod for the gambrel...mule tape slides thru the links better than paracord...scent crap is just to show something for scale

I've got an old mossy oak soft case you can have if it fits your needs. Lest me know if interested and I can send some pics.

Guitar case. Folks have used them for years to hide stuff. :grimacing:

Wait. Did he just say to carry 6 steel chain links with you??? Dude. That ain't official authorized saddle hunting gear... What about your ounces man? Can't you replace those with Amsteel soft shackles?

You can make it much lighter. Allow me to explain...

If you don’t feel like making it like I did, our good friend DanO has it ready to go.

BTW, I appreciate the need to go incognito. I live and hunt around Asheville, NC. The PETA folks have really become emboldened in our mega liberal climate. They are putting out boards with nails sticking up in trails that they think are used by hunters. The latest incident sent a guy hiking with his dogs to the hospital.

That would be a game they very quickly regretted starting down here. Baffles me how folks who think hunters are psychopathic killers incapable of empathy and lacking a moral compass would initiate violence against them...

Anywho, @Weldabeast, I think the route to go is either something like the hc mini or a gearhead that can be shoved in a yuppie-placating pack, or a plain black bow case with some marydoyouwanna plant leaf, birdwatching, eno, yeti, chaco, peace sign, Biden stickers on it. Wear civvy clothing and maybe get some matching stickers on the canoe and car. If questioned tell them you're a student researcher there to document the mating migration routes of the crayficius bulcrappicia, which is only found in that specific watershed.

Yeah, their own hypocrisy is absolutely nowhere on their radar.

I purposely have hiking and camping related stickers all over my truck to make passerby’s think I’m not a hunter
