I’m considering using a vortex bino strap for a DIY back band. It’s going to go on the Tethrd amsteel bridge that comes with the Mantis. What material would you recommend to tie prusiks for the back band connection?

I used some zing-it for some prussiks on some of my hammock camping (1/8” amsteel) stuff, it’s like 2mm amsteel type rope. Worked good.

I was considering using 7/64 amsteel on the 1/4 amsteel bridge but wonder if its too slick to work as a prusik

i used 550 as prussik's on my mantis bridge. they had a little more slide than usual at first, but once they grab, they stayed. mine slide an inch or so then grab hold.
