Hey guys I’m looking for an idea for a cheap/light camera arm. If anyone has made one that works well I’d like to see how y’all did it. I’m not a YouTuber or anything so it doesn’t have to be the best thing ever built just wanting to do a little filming this year. Thanks

Can you screw into trees where you are? And what kind of camera are you thinking?

I hunt a lot of public land so really needs to be able to be strapped to the tree. I’ve got a small cheaper video camera that weighs next to nothing

Last year i took two older screw in bow holders and dismantled them to make a screw in camera arm for my go pro.
I just ran a 1/4x20 bolt through the bottom to hold it.
If you have some laying around you could make something similar and take two small L-brackets to mount to an upright that you run a strap around.

I bought a new camera, mic, and a muddy arm this year.

So, this one is not a simple one but it turned out awesome. It is my 3rd arm that i have built in the last 2 years.

Here is another arm that i built last year- the video talks about my full diy setup for last year. i dont list much details on it but it is near the end of the video. Hopefully it helps.

I like both of the designs but that newer one is awesome. Might see if I can do one like that off a drill press. Preciate it!
