DIY for Hickory Creek fans!

So he is going to make a recurve?

He already has one available. I saw they were for sale in the UK but when I emailed him he said it was more of a survival bow. Seems like he would sell one if a guy would want to buy one. A Youtube video showed speeds near 235 fps so that would be enough for me. Here's the youtube video

Anyone know why he discontinued the original? I like that it has open sights.

I have one for sale in the classifieds!

demand - its a completely out of the box thing - most crossbow buyers only know of what’s for sale at academy or their local pro shop. Those guys don’t know about Jerry either.

I know! I had already pm’d you. Trying to sell some firearms to fund it.

So crossbows are like sticks Mfg weights are not trustworthy.

My Excalibur micro 335 with a tact zone scope. Just under 8.2 pounds. No bolts or quiver in the weight Excalibur claims 5.2 pounds???

My hickory creek with a scope. 6.1 pounds. In the ball park for their weight claims.

Yea im definitely getting one here in the next few weeks. Was saving up for an AR but it can wait, i need one for next deer season.

A mini will come in super handy for where you hunt. I've killed 3 deer and a coyote with it off of the areas you're hunting.

Yea i was just going to get a regular cheaper crossbow but i keep coming back to this one and drooling. I feel for me with the compound i need to practice a few days a week, but with working 65 to 70 hours a week and after the time change its almost impossible for me.

I heard that. I leave in the morning when they're killing ducks on my river in the am, and get back when they're blasting them in the pm. Sucks

I also have one of the regular (not mini) that I could be persuaded to sell. I have both the vertical and horizontal stocks for it. 125# limbs. No sights. I was going to take it to Saddlepalooza and see if anyone was interested.

**EDIT**
Disregard above comment. If I’m too lazy to post it in the classified section, I shouldn’t offer it up here. Carry on.

I've been watching review videos of the hickory creek mini off and on all day. Came across one video mentioning jerry, the creator, boxing mike tyson...I think he did great, I would have been out after the first hit.
