Coghlan's pin-on ball compass. I probably have 6 of them I use them religiously . You really are a lost soul. Six ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Here’s the one I made and am going to use this season. I saw the design online and made one similar to it. It’s super small, light, and compact. I keep it in a sunglasses bag to keep it separated from my other gear. 3.9oz with camjam, 3 s biners and the little satchel. I got the measurements if anyone’s interested as well, just hit me up.
One more, a Nite Ize Figure 9 with a length of paracord. Add alpine butterfly loops wherever you want. Cinch snug to the tree.
The Figure 9 takes from a 3 to a 9mm cord if you want a stouter line. I’ve tried 5mm cord and it works great, 8mm is tougher to get to bite. Cool thing is you can take the alpines out of whatever line you use and then it’s a backup line for whatever. In fact you don’t even have to tie your line to the Figure 9 like I do on mine, both ends can be looped/cinched.
