DIY Platform question

I know I'm a bit late on this topic. But wanted to ask the opinions on here. What are the best standoff options to use for making your own platform? I actually have a Ridge Runner but want to try making my own. Lol!

I used the LW but some people complain about them not being aggressive enough. I've also used Muddy and they were, meh.

I have shikar and those standoffs are wicked mean...they will bite hard into the tree or flesh...believe me when I say they leave a nasty bite. The EWO's are great too. I have the EWO as my ultralite one stick method and they bite very well and I can put my size 10 Lacrosse 1800 thinsulate boots on the stick and have plenty of space.
