I posted this in the bino harness thread, but thought it deserved to post of its own. I made several of these for my wife and kids for a trip out west; they worked great. I used the same cord lock as the commercial one does, but it doesn't make sense unless you're making multiple harnesses.
Supplies:
OP/TECH USA 1301112 Mini QD Loops - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A8EIPJQ

Ravenox Cord Locks for Paracord | SurMount CL Dual Cord Lock | Dual Cord Stopper for Bags, Apparel Use | Drawstring Cord to Secure String, Rope, and Twine | Shoe Lace Locks for Camping Accessories $12

Optionally you can substitute any barrel cord lock for the Ravenox.
Optional supplies for rangefinder attachment:
Two Hole Detachable Cord Lock:
8" or so of 1/8" shock cord
Zipper pull end (optional)
Directions:
Cut shock cord to approximately 8' (7' is probably good for most everyone, but better to err big the first time). For the Ravenox buckles, push the shock cord through the outer holes, roughly center the buckle on the length of cord, and then snap in the fitting.
Run the left cord through the buckle end of one of the optech buckles, and do the same with the right cord.
Bring the cords together up through the middle of the cord lock and tie in an overhand knot or use a zipper pull to secure them.
Rangefinder attachment:
Put one half of the detachable cord stop on your final harness between where the cord runs behind the buckle and the bino attachment.
Thread the 8-in piece of shock cord through your rangefinder attachment point, slide on the other half of the cord stop, and either tie in an overhand knot or use a zipper pull. Play around and trim as needed.
