Alright guys, I’ve killed both of my bucks with a bow already so now I need something to keep me out there doing what I love. I still need a couple more deer for my family and friends, so I’ve decided I am going to try and get a doe with my 44 mag revolver.
Issue: no good way to store it while hunting and chest holsters cost 80 bucks on average. Solution: 1950s Morse thread injector. This should work great in conjunction with my saddle and binocular harness. This also facilitates hunting from the ground better than a hip holster. Here is what I came up with:
the only thing I would change is that the rip stop inside up against the gun makes noise if you draw quickly, and I wish I had used a quieter interior material for a perfectly silent draw. Pretty happy for free 99 and can’t wait to slow draw on a doe from my chest like Jesse James on a stand-off in front of the saloon
