Hello, did my take on the 24" stick with double steps. I obtained the steps from another saddle hunter from his API hunt'n sticks. The standoffs are Lone Wolf V-Brackets. The versa buttons are made from 2 inch x 1/4" 20 thread allen head "cap screws", fender washers, and nylon spacers (1/4" ID, 1/2" OD, 1/2" long). The stick itself is from 6061 1" aluminum square tubing, 1/8" wall thickness.

I plan to drill them out like beast sticks after a while, but I'll play with them a bit as they are for now. Also, they're painted and coated with clear plasti-dip, which deadens the sound a bit, but I'll probably use stealth strips after I drill out all the holes.

They are 24" long, with about 22" step spacing. Each stick weighs about 2lb 3oz without any straps etc.

I'm making some 7/64 amsteel daisy chains that I'll try for an attachment method, otherwise I'll go with LW straps or 1/4" amsteel with spliced eyes.

Looks good, holes save about 3 oz per stick, 3.5 when countersunk pretty deep, FYI... also, holes are a real pain without a drill press IMO, happy hunting!

Thanks for the insight. Luckily I do have a drill press.
