Do I really need a sit drag in addition to a climbing harness?

I am completely new to this, so forgive me if this is obvious... but, do I really need a sit drag in addition to a climbing harness? (such as this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LX1H88...Uw&pd_rd_r=D3E8HS415SHHCH65PSGZ&pd_rd_w=Ys8Qm )

I am guessing the sit drag mostly relieves pressure on your back and legs by letting you sit on your butt. Is it really that helpful? I feel like the climbing harness is made to keep people (professional lineman & tree trimmers) suspended in the air, for extended periods of time, on a regular basis. It has a bridge, D-rings for a lineman's belt, places to hook up a storage pack or two, and adjustable straps. What else do you need?

Yes. Harnesses are not comfortable for the extended periods of time we sit in them. You could pair it with a sit drag but I don’t think it’s comfortable. I’d look at a real saddle IMHO.

Better to spend your money on a tethered mantis or kestrel IMO.

Are you close to a REI or some place that has a rock climbing wall? You can go hang from a rock climbing harness. You will understand in a very short time why you need a sitdrag/ Mantis/ kestrel

Thanks for the feedback, fellas. I'm going to check it out. I'll report back when I make a decision!
