Do you guys think it would be safe to run a bridge this way?

Trying to set up a bridge that I can adjust where it bites on the loops. Just wondering what y’all’s feelings were relying on the 3/8 prusik and the double fisherman. Hopefully you can see the attached image. This rope was the rope that came with the trophy line saddle.

Your prusik has a double fisherman knot and the biner is attached via a figure 8 so that is GTG. However, you'll find that you have little movement turning to the left due to the knot and biner.

Make a larger prusik then pass your bridge through the prusik. That'll give you the adjustablility plus a full range of movement.

That's not a figure 8, that's an overhand on a bite...

Hmm not quite sure I follow. I see what your saying about not being able to turn left. I didn’t think of that. But I don’t quite follow when you said to run the bridge through the longer prusik. What are you attaching the bridge to then? It’s hard to make out what’s going on In that pic

Will an over hand not work here? I’ll admit it was suppose to be a figure eight, but I think I ran it through wrong

This the reason to take things slow. No need to over complicate your whole system before you even get into the tree.
It's an "oh golly, I meant to have it right" and have someone catch it on here for you.
Vs
Finding yourself laying at the base of your tree and wondering what you did wrong.
Appreciate that you are new to this and learn to tie the very basic of knots correctly....

Was already in the tree brother. That’s why I’m trying to mod it a bit to be more comfortable. The way it came there is no way to attach the bridge to the loops in a fixed position. I’d like to fix that to make it more comfortable. Is an overhand bite that inferior to a figure 8? Seems like either way it would be very hard to get that knot to come undone.

Brother... Darwin needs his too

I've said my piece
Good luck out there

Well enlighten me. Lol. I was just trying to work with what I have at the moment.
Regarding what people are suggesting with how to connect your bridge to the prusic, see this video. This is how I do my bridge but with a loop made from a rope with a double fisherman knot rather than the amsteel continuous loop.

Are you trying to maintain the ability to open your bridge?

This is my bridge setup... It's just a Beal Jammy prussic loop on 8mm RescTech. Now ssing a 2-wrap prussic on the bridge loops, and a 50cm Jammy works great.
