Yep, trees are just people too....er....what I mean is the assumption that all live branches of the same type and size are equally strong is faulty. Just like some folks fall wrong and not even that bad and get a spiral fracture of their femur....there are branches that are weak/compromised but are alive and look fine. It's just a rare event.
I assume all branches will break.then take précaution.

I believe (could be wrong, probably am) that Jamie was the first to have weight rated buckles on a saddle (the transformer)

You can probably get them put on a TX5 or any of the saddles where the maker works with the customer (and doesn't just make you stick to their 3 or 4 choices).

It's quite simple. My description of your behavior here is accurate and yours of mine is not. The truth is its own defense.

I'll do one better and add you to my modest blocked list.
Mine is 100% accurate. I didn't think a conversation would hurt your feelings enough to block me but please if this is how you behave normally I beg you to block me.

Thats why we shouldnt try to use branches for rope climbs.

I was about to mention Overwatch lol I requested mine be sewn on my Orion. They’re beefy for sure and comfy.
I hunt out of an Orion. Still take my leg straps off. I was just making points to have a discussion with people, not trying to sit here and argue that you shouldn't wear your leg straps. and I'm just using your comment because I use an Overwatch Outdoors saddle.

This is America, feel free to do whatever you need to do to feel safe.

How do you harness off to a ladder ......nobody do that.clearly you are just guessing.i dont have to be in a harness on the edge of à skyscraper.i just need a safety monitor.and per osha i just need someone to hold the ladder while i climb it and bungi it.per osha.where is this ladder harness tie off point?.i have one hour leaniancy to get up to the tie off bracket, or install one .only depending on my hands and feet.how do you think the safety bracket got the?.a roofer installed it while being tethered to god above.
That's what I'm saying....OSHA rules make no sense so why are u bringing them into the discussion? I'm not guessing.... Its easy to look that stuff up

Lets get in to it deeply.....irational fears in logical falacys, stems from being let down by mâle figyers in your child hood.50 percent of the hunter hero's on this forum are scared to walk in the woods alone in the dark...knowing there is no boogie man.yes i was let down by mâle figyers in my child hood to.it took training and prayer for me to learn to do it.its not a diss.i just cant be afraid of the boogie man anymore.you dont have to be .its not real....or you could show me the stats of injuries from no leg straps

Personally I have always worn my leg straps.
- I know that if/when TMA comes out with their saddle safety testing requirements, leg straps with rated buckles are a must. No g-hooks or removable leg straps.

I am a fan of do what you want and makes you happy. People overthink stuff all the time, people also under think stuff all the time. Just live with the consequences of your decision.

Be very careful when you really love OR really hate something or an idea....because that's when humans fool themselves.

I know a handful of people who are permanently ruined or killed by falling while hunting or other hunting mishaps. I’ve never met anyone who got attacked by the boogie man. Now the Rougaroux you have to watch out for for sure.
