Double step strap question

I received my OCB strap from DoubleSteps today and I cannot get this thing to cam over on a tree! I’ve watched some YouTube videos on how to set up similar straps but I just can’t get it. I’m sure it’s a user error so I’m not faulting DanO at all. Can someone please help me with pics or a video on how to setup this particular strap?? Thanks!

there is a video on this not sure, but it may be DanO
 
Ernie posted a very helpful video and I link to that on my site. It’s on the same page as the ring of steps strap. On my phone walking into my daughter’s soccer game or I’d try to link directly to it.

The videos I saw on YouTube where different buckles. Mine wouldn’t work that way.
