Duck calls

I actually found my old duck call going through boxes from our move. It is 30+ year old single reed. I don't remember the manufacturer but it works great. Called in a few to dekes for my son.

He shot about 3/4 box of shells to get 2 teal and a goose. Missed a lot but had fun. Now my daughter wants to go with so I must be doing something right!!!

I'm going to grab a Drake whistle for my son to use. Get him involved. Also trying to convince the wife I need a 16 for John boat.

I’m not a big fan of RNT calls, that’s all. I have a micro from them that I like. Haven’t tried any of the mondo series, they may be legit. I hunt in Kentucky and Missouri. Timber pack is pretty nice. As far as calls I have a bunch, I swap up all the time. I could probably sell all but a couple and be happy for the rest of my life. Don’t blow money on a bunch of calls, spend it on dekes and trips and boats and motors....you know all the things that actually help you kill birds.

Update on the call. I found a faint stamp when I took it apart. It is a Lohman not certain of the model number though.
