Early/Mid season suits?

After reading various articles, books, posts, etc. I am looking into purchasing a scent lok suit. However, I am torn between early season and mid season. Would it be possible to purchase the early season, ($40-50) cheaper per item and layer underneath/overtop? I live in NJ and we do see cold temps mid-late season.

*Also not sure if this was the right place to post this topic - If it wasn't sorry in advance!

That is what I do. I have a few sets of light scentlok. All of my other clothing that goes over top gets kept in air tight bags and washed frequently (probably should wash after every sit but I don't). When I hike in in the cold I wear just my baselayer and my light scentlok over it, and then put on the heavy stuff at the base of the tree.

Where are you at in NJ?

Of course! I met Stykbow1 last year. This year will be a little tougher on hunting time cause we have a baby due in October :D

Congrats!, my saddle is supposed to be shipped tomorrow so i should have it by the weekend, hopefully should get the hang of it after the weekend but ill definitely be scrolling through the AT thread and this site for info on tweaks and such. Looking forward to hunting out of it
