Entire setup...5.25 lbs

I am just curious, If you had time to prep multiple trees would a cordless drill with a 3/8th inch bit be quicker to drill the tree? Or even on pulbic that allows drilling could you just pre prep trees and then not have to carry a hand drill??

What public land allows a person to drill into the trees?

Cordless is definitely the bomb for presets.
But 3/8" bits are not what you want.
Treehopper uses 11mm so bolts are easier to insert and remove. 3/8" bits are tight.

I used carbon bolts a lot last year. I go 270 lbs. I had read that a couple guys had them snap so I drilled a hole as close to the ground as I could on a telephone pole and literally bounced up and down on each of my 14 bolts several times then rotated them and bounced some more. No issues at all.
That being said, I had in my mind every time I used them for the rest of the season the image of snapping one. I haven’t used them at all this year.

Tree hopper hand drill or for presets a treehopper cordless drill bit and cordless drill.
