EWO pouches + rappel rope

Anyone know if 37' of Canyon Elite will fit into a standard sized EWO pouch? The "tall" pouch seems a bit bigger/longer than I care to have strapped to my waist.

Full disclosure: I don’t have actual experience with Canyon Elite but 40’ of Resc Tech with carabiner and rap ring fits with room to spare so canyon elite should fit fine.

I keep 35' of elite in a standard pouch no problem. Pouch is a little bulky but could be the way I stuff it. Not trying to hijack your thread but does anyone know the best routine for winding and storing the elite rope in a pouch?

Canyon CI-V 9mm fits in the fleece regular pouch. I don't know about the other materials that don't stretch.

I just wrap mine with the hand to elbow method that crosses each time. When I pack it, I fold the ends upward and push the middle down inside. The last two times I rappelled I forgot to take the rope out of the pouch, but it fed out flawlessly……I still plan to drop the rope before I rappel as a regular practice.

I keep 40', my safeguard and carabiner, and 4' of TRC and a carabiner for an auto block in a standard fleece pouch. Strangely enough, that one is fine, but the one that only holds my tether, lineman's, and bridge when it's disconnected is tearing.
