Eye-to-eye Prusik Length Question

I'm looking to replace my current prusik cords with sewn eye-to-eye prusik cords but I'm not sure what length to get. Options are 28", 30", or 32". Also what size cord should I go with, 10mm? I am putting these on the lineman and tether that came with an Aerohunter saddle.

Thanks for your help!

I have the 8mm for my 11, 10 and even my 9mm ropes. It is 28" and works for a distel or a scwabish hitch. A 30" would have a longer tail once dressed but it works for either of these ropes. My 8mm oplux I have the 6mm TRC rope.

I'd look at the 5.5 mm beal cord from easternwoodsoutdoors.com and while you're there I'd pick up a j-cline tender. I'd grab a tender for whatever you go with honestly. I get 36" of the 5.5 and tie poacher's knots that take about 4" each and wind up with plenty of rope for a schwebash or distel hitch at 28". Not too much tail to where I have account for it in terms of how I set my tether or have my friction hitch rub the tree on my LB.

Long story short. My vote is 28".
