I am switching to hybrid system so I will have slack in my tether at times. I need to incorporate a ripstop or something into my tether so I don't break my back if we're to fall. What are you guys using?
Also a while a go I saw a rope fall arrest plate that you fed the rope through multiple holes to friction stop. I can't seem to find it now can anyone point me in the right direction to that? I am using oplux for tether. Thanks.

I'm using a hybrid system with my .5 stand rock harnesses with 8.4mm dynamic rope works great and is fall protection with low tether. Screenshot_20210103-094510_Gallery.jpg

I don't like using a saddle for this they are not fall protection!

I'm using a dmm ripstop attached to a dmm small shackle. That shackle is then tied off to my tether via TRC with a blake's hitch. This setup is for my "climbing tether", once I'm at height I transition to a static setup/mechanical descender.
