Looking at trying to video hunts this coming season. Interested in the GoPro 7. Anyone using this to self film hunts?
I have never videoed before, so recommendations on equipment and accessories on how you do your filming would be appreciated.
Would like to keep it simple if possible. Also, would like to play back on my large screen tv.

I'm dont film, but I have read that the go pro is not what you want for filming deer and wildlife. It is supposed to be real good at doing interviews in the tree and a second angle for watching the shot and such.

If I was in your shoes, and you only want one camera....go pro would not be my pick from the little I know.

I have a much older go pro but, they don't work well to film hunts because they are wide angle and don't have a zoom. You can't see much past 5 yards. Here is an older thread where go pro's were discussed: https://saddlehunter.com/community/index.php?threads/go-pro-session.2841/#post-32528

There are a ton of threads about self filming with camera recommendations if you do a search. It can get expensive fast. Here is a thread where I talk about my setup. It's far from professional but, was cheap and does plenty good enough for me. https://saddlehunter.com/community/index.php?threads/dual-purpose-video-camera.5458/#post-134557
