Can’t tell from the pictures. Are you just using it to ascend/rappel? Or are you using it as your prussic/ropeman at height?

If you’re staying hooked in long term with it make sure to back it up with the appropriate knots. The lifeguard has a spring to open up the cam (for belay uses) and could open up if you take weight off of it. Which is why I like the safeguard personally. It doesn’t have the spring.

I didn't know they made a black lifeguard. Is this one of the experimental spring-less lifeguards before they came out with the safeguard?
