Finally getting out.

rain finally stopped so headed to Texoma to hunt an oak flat. people are so predictable. found two ladder stands and one ground blind right on the edge of the oaks. so what did I do, moved 100 yards downwind on the edge of a plum thicket the deer use for bedding. Stay out of the hardwoods if you want to see more bucks

Good luck Dave! Unfortunately, if I follow the hardwood advice, I'd be left hunting in the middle of a corn or soybean field. Hardwoods are all we have around here!

I hunt Coal County in Oklahoma. Basically the same terrain. So stay out of the hardwoods? Tell me more?
