First bow kill and first saddle kill

Very nice! Congrats!
You set a high bar for yourself.
Care to share the story?
Had seen him and some bachelor bucks regularly but because of the wind never could get close. The ones he has been running with were 200 yards in front of me a little earlier than normal. Wind in my face he came in from behind me to 15 yards quartered away. Arrow went in about the liver and out a couple inches behind left leg; dropped about 75 yards in the field and never moved again. The good Lord had to have put it together because there is no way he wouldn’t have winded me.

Great buck. I am still looking to get my first bow kill and saddle kill. I have to say that I will be thrilled with a doe. That's a hoss!

I mean that's a good buck if your into that sort of thing I guess. More mature good size and nice rack and all...

JK. Nice buck man, well done

Congrats. Love seeing all these first saddle kills. Especially like that. Now you just have to type up a story explaining why you couldn’t have killed that deer without the saddle.

To be honest there is a lone wolf hang on that I’ve got in sight of where I shot him, after using the saddle I can’t sit still in a ladder or hang on stand. Took about three hunts before I got my set up down and now I don’t ever see myself going back.

Another congratulations on a beautiful mature buck. Sounds like you’re hitched up on saddle hunting now.
