First Compound Bow Harvest & Saddle Harvest!

Long time lurker, just wanted to share my harvest from this year!

Purchased a Bear Cruzer G2 along with the Tethrd Phantom and Predator XL pack.

Went out to a public WI piece that I don't believe gets hunted too hard. In front of me appears to be tall grassy/prairie area. To my right is a small 15 acre woods, and behind me was a standing corn field.

During the last 30 mins of light, about three doe came down that little hill and sort of just appeared as they moved through the tall grass.

She came down to the open path, and turned to the right - towards the woods and gave me a perfect broadside shot @ 20 yards.

She jumped up and moved to where I circled, and expired.

What a rush it was!

Never had a chance or saw man bucks, but was super grateful to accomplish this!
 
Way to go! Got my first bow and saddle kill this year too, so I know the excitement. Big congrats!
