First deer out of a saddle!

Don’t know if this is spot to post this but super pumped Halloween morning shot my first deer out of a saddle and of course it’s a dandy! He looked at me once but looked away never would have happened if in a lock on love the saddle!

My first buck out of the saddle. Shot a couple weeks back and thought it was a doe until it dropped. Oops. But it’s a start.

I did say earlier (jokingly) as long as it wasnt dripping with afterbirth I was shooting something if it walked by. Last year was a first. 4th year hunting, first year bow. First year saddle. First year game land. Not a successful season in looking at the freezer in Jan 2.

Got one deer last year**** (when I ordered a venison burger).

So this year on a lease with some friends and it started slow. New land. No clue. Up to that little 6 I’d only seen spotted fawns with momma.

But we are having a great time at camp...and waiting in a big one... but this. This is the second best part. ......
