First deer with a recurve

Stalker stickbow 19” ILF riser with Uukha ex1 evo2 limbs. I bought them both used but it would be hard for to consider anything but a stalker after shooting this one. I am limited in my recurve experience (2 years shooting) but really enjoy this bow. Would love to have matching limbs eventually, or just a new one to go next to it.

It was built by my dad. Most of my bows have been.

I thought yours looked like a Stalker from what I could see. I’ve never shot one but, I use the Stalker/dryad site to help visualize wood combos when I pick them out. Dads bows have a similar shape to the Coyote’s.

Actually, the accent stripes in the bow in the attached pic came from Stalker. After explaining to South imitation was the sincerest form of flattery he was nice enough to send me a set of his custom accent stripes. Lol.

That is awesome!!! From what I hear, there is no turning back for you now. By the way, great shot, I love those low exits for trailing.
I so hope that I can make a similar post next season on a first traditional bow kill.
