I started 13 months ago in a saddle . It took a dozen hunts to get the comfort and confidence up. I am sure it is safer than a climber or lock on stand.I bought the saddle last year and never used it; I didn't feel confident. I said screw it and took it out. Hunting today and tomorrow with it.
Cool! I sat for 2.5 hours. My feet were completely asleep.Keep in mind it takes some getting used to for your feet, hips, and back. Your feet will eventually learn to deal with it. Mine hurt at first too, but now I can sit for 4 hours and be 100% comfortable.
I can't tell in your photo, but I would try lowering your saddle a little so that you are sitting more. That should distribute your weight more evenly between your feet and your butt. I can see someone's feet getting tired but if they are asleep after a short time I think something needs to be adjusted.Cool! I sat for 2.5 hours. My feet were completely asleep.
Well your camo doesn't match...... you'll have to fix that before any hero shots.Any criticism on my set up?
