First saddle hunt

So this coming Thursday will be my very first saddle hunt. I’ve read and watched about all I can. I think I have all my gear where I want it, for now. I’m assuming I’ll probably mess with how I hang my pack and bow quite a bit. It’ll be a hang and hunt in the dark that first morning. I know the tree already and should be pretty quick to set up. Anyone have any things they over looked or didn’t expect the first hunt in a saddle that I should look out for?

I'm in the same boat. Hopefully we arent gunning for the same tree hahahaha but all jokes aside our opener is the 1st aswell and i only hope to tag a Doe first thing in the am. I'm for filling the freezer first!

Hahah I’m not gonna lie, I have 3 doe tags and plan on filling all of them. Very possible as long as I do my part. Get the does done and fill freezer

My first hunt in the saddle I forgot my release. Obviously you want to make sure you are set with everything you need when it comes to saddle hunting, but don't forget the usual necessities either. Easy to forget the little stuff when you're doing something completely different.
