First Year Bow and Saddle Hunting from Louisiana.

I'm only a few years in with a bow and hunting the way I am now. Be patient and enjoy it, if you have family and friends that can help along the way that's a plus if not that's ok it just may take more work. Dont beat yourself up when you get frustrated just keep grinding and dont give up it will pay off. It's fun and I have to tell myself this still because I still get frustrated but I enjoy hunting and shooting my bow.

Oh yeah, last year was frustrating but still fun. I only saw two and it was my last day hunting..... stretching my legs and a doe walked maybe 10 yards from me. She was tooo small to shoot, then had a medium size one step out about 250 yards away. Clean miss. :unamused: Still had fun though.

Bought my first bow and my first saddle this year.
Hunting the woods of northwest Louisiana.

Welcome from Natchitoches, if you are wanting to hunt kisatchi get ready for the orange moffia, quite a few of them could care less about ow close they get to you as well. Never leave anything your vehicle that you don’t want stolen and always lock your vehicle. Best trick to not have people figure out your spots is to dump your gear where you walk in then drive down the road and park. Lots of people will hunt your vehicle thinking you are on deer and they will kill deer doing this. Welcome to kisatchi buddy! Been hunting it all my life.
