Was thinking about trying something like this for presets,where lagbolt could be used, Anybody ever try these?

Was thinking to take clamp apart ,then lag around tree to stand on ,gonna give it a shot with some 6 inch clamps,You guys got my wheels turning ,lol
 
Interesting concept!!! If you take the clamp apart do you think you will have enough foot room?
 
Not sure.but could always move up to a 8 ich clamp.when I get some time I'm gonna play around with the ideaAlso was thinking about adding some thick rubber where foot will be
