I am really liking the idea of a fleece saddle. I have read and read thread after thread, and I just cant find the answers I am looking for.
How exactly are people backing up with a RCH? I envision the fleece saddle and bridge over the RCH, and the bridge going through the tether like on any other saddle. How is the RCH attached to the tether? The only thing I can picture is the tag end of the tether attaching to the belay loop on the RCH.
Another option would be to place the fleece saddle over my mantis with a slightly shorter bridge to ensure the weight is on the fleece and not the saddle. I like how I can extend the fleece up my back and down my legs which will provide a ton more support and keep me from fidgeting so much. In a stand I sit still like a damn statue of death for hour - not so much with the saddle and I want to get there.
Am I missing anything here? Any pictures of the hook up of both the saddle and the RCH to the tether would help me a great deal. Thanks!
