That’s not a fair comparison your deer isn’t right next to the camera at that nice 3/4 in pose that gives them some optical illusion of length and mass… you need to train that buck to strike a better pose for the future lol
 
Here's my best Florida deer I've ever chased, and he was on a WMA too! A family member of a friend got him rut crazed walking through an active logging area in the wide open during the midday in gun season....netted like 137" and change! And those temps are correct too! @TexaninSconny here's some good posts for ya! And @Jwiggins762 maybe we can find his offspring come archery...they'll be 3.5+yo now!

I worked an elevated archery tournament and a scouting day with those guys over the summer. It’s ridiculously hot and they go into some serious swamps. The one guy Danny hunts a lot of pine rows with no real back drop to break up his outline and the sun beating down on him all day. We open mid September here in C… but it’s about 5 degrees cooler than the temps they hunt. If you get a chance, we will be doing a big saddle hunter meet up/ hog hunt in February, those guys will be there along with a few other you tube and tv hunting show guys. You should make plans to attend

It’s funny because those guys don’t look like they would wanna be out in 100 degree heat either but they kill a lot of deer and this year they added 3 guys to the SNS team and one of them Mug is a straight up savage. He goes into some nasty stuff, does a lot of stalk hunting as well, but he’s good. If they keep growing, they have potential to be the equivalent to Florida’s The Hunting Public.
 
Everybody hard antler in my archery quota. Got 5 shooters....best 1 is a single "cow horn" on 1 side that is funky like he had some trauma and 4 or 5 point on the other.....he definetly the most aggressive buck around
