Made a few posts & realized I didn’t stop here first!
I have a small patch of private land adjoining my back yard that I bow hunt. It’s only a few seasons new to me, so I’m learning patterns and habits. The buck in my avatar isn’t a rarity there, so I hope to capitalize on that sometime. I’m a fairly casual hunter due to other demands on my life & time, but I truly treasure the time I do get to spend letting nature just happen all around me. It’s kinda my church.
I do some industrial rope access work for my job, so climbing safety, techniques, and equipment is not foreign to me. I kinda stumbled onto this forum through New Tribe and researching their Kestrel. I had no idea this world even existed, but I realizes immediately that I need more of this in my life!
I look forward to learning much, sharing where I can add value, and probably creating another black hole to throw cash down into....lost forever.
Oh, and I am located in Waukesha county.
