I don’t see why you would be worried about brush? They don’t seem to stick out further then traditional fletching. From my experience if any part of the arrow touch’s anything while on flight it’s not hitting the intended target. Type of fletching wouldn’t change that dynamic. Imo.
I'm with Ernie. Haven't shot the compound much in the last few years but when I do.....I'm an FOB SOB!
I have been using fobs for over 15 years. I absolutely love them. Still on my original dozen too. Not sure about the brush as I wouldn't shoot at anything through brush. Any where you would shoot a normal arrow would be fine though.
They also pop out on impact so you always know where to start the blood trail. Only thing to watch out for is no group shooting as you can really start breaking them (shoot spots). Also, if you do a 3d shoot try to go in a small group or with bad shooters as they have a really good target when you shoot first.

Shot them for a couple seasons. Went back to fletching this year for two reasons - the used arrows I bought were fletched and they flew great didn't want to mess with them; and with the EZV sight, the loss of speed downrange because of the effectiveness as a stabilizer was a concern picking the right insert. Having talked with Aaron it's probably not a problem. I may switch back in the off season.

I bought a 12 pack last year. I have them on a couple arrows and will give them a shot. They group the same as my fletched arrows in the back yard. They are certainly easy to put on and take off 
. Still getting used to the different feeling of them against my cheek. I don't shoot more than 20 yards usually so I'm not sure if I'm gaining much by using them. I'm giving them a shot but I don't know if I'll stick with them or not.
